Where is IMPACTEN based, and what working-hour overlap is available?
IMPACTEN is based in Montevideo, Uruguay, and works remotely with clients in the Americas. Our working day overlaps strongly with US business hours.
How do you manage communication and project visibility?
You work directly with the people responsible for the solution through scheduled calls, written progress updates and regular demonstrations. We can use your preferred collaboration tools when appropriate.
Can you work with an existing product or codebase?
Yes. We can take over, extend or modernize an existing product or codebase when it is a practical fit, including integrations with the systems you already use.
Who owns the code and deliverables?
Code and deliverable ownership is defined clearly in each agreement before work begins. We adapt the structure to the project and the client’s requirements, including any treatment needed for project-specific code, reusable components and third-party software.
How are scope, changes and payments handled?
Projects are normally structured in clear phases, with scope, milestones and invoicing agreed in advance. Material changes are documented and approved before they affect delivery or cost. USD is the default for work outside Uruguay; UYU remains available for Uruguayan clients.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. We can sign a mutual NDA before detailed discovery, or review your organization’s standard NDA when required.
What happens after launch?
The project does not end at go-live. Support, functional evolution and updates continue as the product and the business change. IMPACTEN does not offer a general 24/7 company SLA.
